I have been thinking to make some videos for my blog for quite some time. However, I have no clue how to start one. How and which video editing software to use? Where to get those stock video resources? Which type and brand of microphone to use for recording? Or should I stick with Text-To-Speech? And many many other technical concerns. Obviously, publishing a video requires a lot more effort and time as compared to a blog post.
Then recently, Ezoic, the ad network that I am using, came out with a new feature called "article to video creator". Like the name, it could turn your articles into videos. Simply upload an article, select a narrator's voice, choose a theme and any media to include. Ezoic will generate a video that visually explains the written content. The video would then be hosted on Humix (by Ezoic).
Overall, it becomes easier to create a video with this new feature, but the time spent is still considerably longer as compared to a blog post. For a start, I've decided to test it with my first personal finance post - What to Consider before Start Investing? Let's start with the first video below.
